dul Two Step Sparring

Two-step sparring introduces kicking techniques into the defensive ability of the defender. Combinations of hand/foot or foot/hand techniques are now used against the defender. This step sparring format is gradually leading to the one attack one defense and one counter attack of General Choi Hung Hi. As in all step sparring formats great attention to technique should always be observed and practiced. Detail to stances and understanding distance are critical. Students should also understand the use of proper blocking techniques and counter attacking techniques to the appropriate vital spots of their partner. Master Drysdale VII Dan
