Drysdale’s
School Of Tae Kwon Do

Respect
Respect, humility, and high sense of morality are important teachings
that all of those who practice Tae Kwon Do should learn. Respect can never be
over stressed, because it is respect that maintains healthy the
student-instructor relationship. If the student does not respect his instructor
he/she will never become worthy of the instructors trust, and therefore his/her
presence in the Dojang will not be welcomed. Respect is an important subject in
Tae Kwon Do. Respect is expected from all students toward their parents, their
nation, their master and fellow students, and in general toward all human
beings.
The cornerstone of Tae Kwon Do success is Respect. When respect is lost
or never earned that student will not succeed in Tae Kwon Do.
There are of course many within the martial arts, who because of their
actions, neither deserve nor have earned the Respect of their peers or
students. We as Americans live in the most Blessed Country on the face of this
planet Earth. God has given us much yet we give little in return. The blessings
that we receive are returned to the Giver with Abortions, Gay Marriages,
Molesting of our children, Rape, Murder, etc. The Litany is endless. We, as
Martial artists, have an obligation to uphold the Traditions of God and Country
and set them as the Foundation of our Moral System. We cannot be swayed by
Liberals whose only objective is Perverting the Law of Country and of God. I for
one will strive to inject the Morality of God and country for as long as I
live. I care not who disagree but only feel sorry for them for they are lost.
